Package type treatment is basically the mobile treatment plant of the wastewater treatment plant, which is produced as modular in portable sizes. The working principle of package type treatment systems designed for the treatment of domestic or industrial wastewater is based on the purification of water by physical and/or chemical means. The sections of the Package Type Treatment Units are as follows;
• Grid channel
• Pre-settling chamber
• Balancing chamber
• Biological reactor

Makfen Package Type Treatment Plants and units, which are compactly designed and mostly designed for domestic biological wastewater, have a much easier use than mechanical systems by making the advanced process technology called SBR (Sequential Batch Activated Sludge) full automatic by PLC automation system.

Due to the bacteria that perform the purification function in Package Type Treatment Plants, the impurities in the wastewater are separated and the treated water is discharged to the receiving environment. The environment in which the bacteria performing the purification function are found is called “activated sludge”. A blower (aerator) is used to meet the oxygen need of the bacteria in the activated sludge and to provide full mixing conditions in the reactor. In order to transfer the air supplied by the blower to the wastewater in a diffuse way, special membrane type diffusers with non-clogging structure are used. While the water treated in the facility is removed from the system by the discharge pump, automatic chlorine dosage is applied to the treated water for disinfection.

Package Type Treatment Plants are mostly produced from ST37 quality carbon steel due to the corrosive feature of water. Stainless steel can also be used according to customer demands and preferences.
